Dr. Helena El-Najjar
Dr Helena has spent the last few years working within communities around Australia, seeing children, the elderly, and everybody in between. She is a true believer that anyone with back pain has a right to feel better and reach their full potential without their body holding them back.
Dr. Helena has an academic background in research, completing a biomedical science degree before pursuing chiropractic, where her interest in neuroscience and how the body is well and truly connected lead her to being a chiropractor today. Over time, she has developed a particular interest in:
- Paediatric care: where the foundation of a healthy nervous system begins, and
- Chronic pain-type syndromes: when that nervous system has been struggling for a long time and needs support the most.
When her nose isn’t deep in the books, she has way too much fun picking up musical instruments. She enjoys playing the piano, guitar and drums; composing her own music on the side. She is an avid tennis fan and has stayed as close to the sidelines as possible, adjusting professional tennis players through the Australian Open. She spends her free time outdoors with her black Labrador, can talk tennis and soccer with you until the cows come home, and truly aspires to help people in any way she can.
In a session with Helena, she will gain insight into your lifestyle and needs, and tailor her care to your health goals. She practices a range of chiropractic techniques catered to the individual she’s working with. These include gentle manual adjusting, cranial therapy, sacro-occipital technique (SOT), and applied kinesiology (AK).
Staying up to date with the latest research, Dr Helena alongside Dr Alfie, is able to serve the whole family in a safe, modern and effective manner.
